Post-Tenure Review
Senator Crothers: I am going to get back in touch with the people of URC to check into the question of post tenure review. They say that they are working on it diligently.
Faculty Caucus/College Council Communication
Senator Hampton: I think it might be useful to develop a policy for cultivating the relationship between the Senate, the Caucus and the College Councils. We have talked about that as being an important lapse in policy at the moment. I think it would great to have something on paper with which we could agree or disagree.
Senator Crothers: I can tell you what we have done in the interim since that last discussion. Caucus minutes are now going to go to College Council members. There are going to be special efforts made to make those kinds of connections. When there are caucuses where there are going to be issues of substance to colleges discussed, they will be invited to the caucus.
Senator Hampton: Is that on paper anywhere?
Senator Crothers: No, but if you would like to draft it and submit it to the caucus, the caucus could discuss it.
